I read the “girls and guys” thread about men watching porn and what women think of it, as well as, the thread that inspired it, which was about a woman who found out that her husband was secretly watching porn and was asking for opinions on how she should act. Both of these threads where about men watching porn and ask what women think about their husbands watching porn.

I was rather curious, how would men react if they found out their wives were watching porn, or reading 50 Shades of Grey (described by some people as “mommy porn”) or other soft porn novels?

Men and women across the board do not necessarily approve porn in any form.

While men are stereotyped as less tolerant of their wives watching porn, it is most likely due to men are more vocal and get their opinions expressed without having to fear about the repercussion.

Many women even after knowing their men are in to porn stay quiet. Does not mean they are more tolerant, but maybe they are more fearful of the retaliation if they spoke against it to their men.
