Well, I am not here to comment on who is correct and who is wrong. But wanted to answer the question raised by Changez.No Tablieeghi Jamaat is not a political party and so far it has kept it self away from politics as opposed to Jamaate Islami. One can say that its basicaly a grass roots organization and that they follow a bottom up approach.

I wouldn’t rely on their material, I would consult Quran and Sunnah for knowledge abt Islam, and start acting..
Now a days Muslims are diverted away from the Sirat-e-Mustaqeem, and i think every one will agree with me. and Its one person duty to call others on the right path.

well i don't know much abt tableeghi jama'at's preeching and conduct but i have a few cousins who are jamati. one of them is a very good muslim he just wrote a book which was rated excellent at amazon.com and well he is very intelligent. But his only flaw is that he tries to impose his beliefs on his family guess wat he did he gave away all the jewellery of his wife away because he said his father used to work in a bank!!!!! i mean that is tooo extreme but mashallah his wife is veryy nice and is happy with him so i guess it doesn't matter.
The basic concept of tableegh is not bad and i have seen muslims transform when they join such jama'ats but the prob is that there way of preaching is a little controversial. But i do believe that muslims shud try to better themselves and this is the only way of daawah to non-muslims because how much u tell them about ur religion the only thing that will attract them is ur way of living and that was how millions of ppl converted in the early years. And well Allah has told us to do exactly the same.

u know nobody restricts u from understanding islam according to ur own will u know i have seen ppl who r doing tableegh and go to jammat but they do there ibaadat according to their way ..... that is there is no restriction that namaz youn parhni hai quran youn deni hai ..... even i have listened to tarik jameel he said that " jo koi ikhlas k sath deen ki mehnat kare ga os ko os k ikhlas ki bina par os ka ajar milay ga " and i think if u ppl are doing these conversations with ikhlas so that ppl may start understanding islam u will get its AJAR inshallah ...... and i am sorry if i said anything wrong to anyone .... and i have come to know that some ahmadies and sheas are also in this conversation so now i know y they were so difficult to win ......... i tell u chapter no 9 rukku no 10 ..... ALLAH SAYs they have hearts but they dont think . they have eyes but they dont see they have ears but they dont listen to anyones........ same case here with these ppl ...... they just have objections and before they start they have their decision in their minds...........
so i would request such ppl not to come in ths conversation coz this is a sensitive issue THANKS!
Tableegh-e-Islam is a great effor done by a muslim and people who do it are actually taking a very big responsibility on themselves. Tableegh can be done in a simple way of making our own life best to teachings of islam and then starting it from our family and then to enighbours and then to rest.This is the way which Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) adopted.
So first thing come my own self to be made better to justify my words to others. No one realy in few days can say that he has become perfect and is a great muslim.
I have seen in Tableeghee Jamaats that young fellows when start with great enthusiast, very soon lose the tempo and come back to their previous life. Which is the question why this happens. Reason is that first themselves they have to realy work hard to make themselves better. And then go in the field to spread it around. Like if you make an engineering project, unless the product is not burn-tested to its max. performance, is never acceptable in market. Same is to a muslims heart, when he wants to put himself in front of others as a teacher of Islamic life , first if he himself is not solid can't succeed. This is main thing which these jamaats lack.
Also in some cases the members of Jamaat forget about their duty to their families, including parents. Which is very painful both to parents and relatives. As I tried to explain, if the guy himself is neglecting his duties his preaching is going to stay in-effective.
well muslims are our brothers arnt they? so we start from our family ......... and what about the rights of those wives whose husbands go abroad and didnt even look back ..... and their wives are happy becoz they send money ..... what about the rights of those parents ............. u know what i am saying......... u know what jab insabn DAWAT KA KAAM KARTA HAI NA TO SHETAN SARE HAKOOQ YAD DILA DETA HAI .....
Haqooq-Ul-Ibad is always considered more important than Haqooq-Ullah. Of course men who stay outside the country without wives has their duties to be fulfilled for wives too, and husband shouldn't stay without her if she doesn't agree to stay alone. But if she gives up her own right on expanse of money and is living and showing off happily that is her problem and no more man can be held responsible for any wrong doing. This is a mutual understanding.
Only I will say is do tableegh if you can prove it by deeds and not only words. It is as simple as that.
well u can see many incidents........ from SAHABAS life ....... go and study a book HAYATUS SAHABA and u will ome to know waht they did for deen ..... adn how much time did they give to their wives and families when the deen of ALAH WAS IN WEAK position . hazrat ABBU BAKKAR SAID ....... " Allah ka deen mit jaye aur main zinda rahonn??" U KNOW WHAT aaj bhi deen mit raha hai aur hammay tumhe koi fikar nahi hai ...... kissi bhaee ka kuch gum ho jaye to hamme dukh hai ! koi fot ho jaye to hamme dukh hai ! but kissi ki namaz choot jaye to koi fikar hi nahi ....... u know a hedees is " jis ki koi aik namaz chali gayee samgho wo aese hai k os ka sab kuch lut geya ho " so what about those rights...........of ALLAH ........
and last thing
there is ana ayat last ayat of 10 suparah go and read that os mai special beewion k mutalik kuch likha howa hai ! so beter read that ayat and then talk to me about loving ur wives itna zayada k deen hichoot jaye ! seeu

Brother buttjee, I don't know how much time you have spent with "tableeghi" group, but sure you haven't learnt the "dawa". you might have learnt talking on the "6 points" but thats when you gather some people in a mosque.

what you consider as "reference" is not merely for looking at it, but it is to prove your point that you are right. you have to prove that the "sunnah" you claim is actually a "sunnah" and the way "tableeghi" group is working is "approved" by Quran and Sunnah otherwise if people don't ask for proofs anyone can make up a group and claim it to be "according to Sunnah".... how do you judge? by listening only?

u know this is not a new jamat ( well its not a jammat as i heard from MOLANA tarik jameel sahab he said .... thsi is only a FIKAR and not a jammat ( i dont wana go in detail ) )
and u know there is not any BIG oposition for this jammat at all ppl go ad learn and so on ............ so u are very right . k quran se prove hoina chahiye . but in k pas hai to wo kar rahe hain na ......... other wise in pakistan ..... itnay bare level par koi kaam nahi hosakta jo QURAN HADEES SE SABIT NA Ho ....u know ijtama oar 15 lakh tak log hotayn hain .......
