i have noticed that we have a lot of dabur amla bottles at home
i was thinking about tying it because it promises long, dark and stron hair.have you ever tried it?how was it?
and secondly i wanted to ask how to use oils in hair.i know its a stupid question but do you really apply it in each part of your hair or just end,scalp..?
Re: what about dabur amal?
i tried it only once in my life and i hated it... its got a sticky feeling ot it.. oil is meant to be smooth.. what this is .. its like you cut fruit and put it in your hair.. its that kinda stickyness... adn the smell is horrendous! but i know ppl that say its great. try it out...
Re: what about dabur amal?
thanks,i will try it,because my father tried it and told me that its terrible.i asked him why.so he replied, that it makes your hair grow very fast/makes your hair longer. lol

Re: what about dabur amal?
I used to use that hair oil years ago and it worked really well. I had always kept my hair really short in high school and mid college i wanted to grow out my hair, and i don't know if it was the oil or not but a friend's mom made us oil our hair before a stage show. my mom is not pakistani so the concept of hair oil was new to me, the smell was horrid but the shine and healthy look it gave me the next day was totally worth it. My hair grew quickly, strong and shiny now it's not like that anymore (this is years later). I think this reminds me to stop by my local desi store and pick some more up, thanks :) and I totally recommend this brand. It smells horrible though and I always kept it on my hair overnight with an old pillow covered with towels... i still threw my pillow in the washer bc it smelled so don't bother with a pillow case and such.
