Indian workers dismantle a 110-foot concrete statue of the Hindu god Lord Krishna in Narsinghpur village, India. The statue, which has been under construction for the past six years, collapsed on Jan. 6, killing three workers.

But masjid is not god...
Neither was the statue. The statue only 'symbolises' God in the Hindu faith - it's not the real thing.
I think respecting others faith is most important factor in Islam.. u cant make fun of others faith and make them believe in urs.. look how much damage Ghaznavi did when he looted Somnath Mandir with force and disrespected their praying place..
I have seen some idiots in Lahore been killed when they tried to destroy Mandirs in fury after some zealot hindus destroyed Masjid in India..

Quite sanctimonious and arrogant to call others "dumb" because of the God(s) they worship. It is also a stretch to imply that a man-made representation of a god has anything to do with the power or righteousness of that god.
This picture was featured on Seattle times, and for some reason it reminded me of an incident where some Prophet(I think Ibrahim) razed the idols at a worship place and then put the axe on the shoulder of the biggest idol, so that people could question it, what took place.

What truth, and what signs exactly ? Enlighten me, please from the scripture or revelations. By the signs, I hope we are not talking about the crumbled pieces of concrete above, or the structures that can't even support themselves.

Well, I am certainly not pleased with the deaths. And, at no place did I mention that. In my opinion, it's shameful to create such structures that would likely to end up as pieces of worship; thus allowing their creators to extort money or other gifts from worshippers in the name of false gods. Too bad that the people had to die in such a manner.

Kind of like the way some non-Muslims believe that Mohammed is a false prophet and the hajj is a way for Arabs to extort money from rock-worshiping pilgrims. It's all about your perspective, and there are a lot of intelligent, spiritual people that do not agree with your views. So for them to cally you dumb or vice-versa isn't fair.
we should refer to what Prophet Muhammad (saw) did in these incidents,,, .
during fateh Mecca,,, He ordered all the statues inside Kaba/Mecca to be destroyed,,,
yet a point to take is
1.. He didn't destroy statues straight away i.e. before hijrah when he was first in Mecca.. this is because He didn't have authority over them and he let them worship what ever they liked,, but he verbally pointed out the weakness and wrongness of such belief
2.. second is that on fateh mecca the people requested,, not to force the people to destroy the statues with their own hands,,, so He even then respected not their beliefs but their feelings,, so to make it easy for them He accepted their request and sent someone else to do it...
but still for a muslim looking at such event, he will naturally think why people worship such statues,, or seminole,, a point if i may,, islam require rational belief not blind following,, so if a person trully believes in islam, in his heart he cannot help feeling that ppl who disagree are wrong,, but still they should feel sorry for such people not happy at their misfortunes,,, because they may on day of judgement question muslims for not delivering them out of their false misery cos, that is a duty of a muslim

Surah Al-Bakarah... They are those who have purchased error for guidance, so their commerce was profitless.And they were not guided. Their likeness is as the likeness of one who kindled a fire;then, when it lighted all around him, Allah took away their light and left them in darkness. (so) they could not see.
Thumun bukmun umyun, fahum la yarjioun... Deaf ,Dumb and Blind so they return not (to the Right Path).
