I came across this article while googling for images ( :halo: ) and I thought it was such a nice story. We see so many stereotypes especially on here, that husbands and fathers are lazy or selfish, that women who come from Pakistan aren’t educated, etc…I think this pretty much defies those generalizations.
I know for a fact that her story is not the exception but rather much more common than some of us like to believe.
When husband was in college and uni, the majority of the people who came in at the top of the class (not sure if they were the speakers or valedictorians) were Muslim women, married and with children…
i think this story is more common than we like to admit.
