man. he needs to learn maths, if some one buys 60ltr of fuel. it does not mean he is leaving few paisa for every ltr. rounding is done to the total amount. Also ppl dont buy in ltrs, they buy in money, like for 500Rs you get the exact liters and milliliters of fuel.
that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard from a tv anchor.
he is also right at his point. Some people talk about liters. Here he is talking about profit on each liter. I know in private sector when any person has to fill the tank he / she ask for so much liter. There the person have to pay more for the same amount that he / she was paying before.
eg:
1litre: 48.57
1litre: 48.92
Same amount buying at same price but selling at increased price to earn more profit. So the profit increases but the buying and the quantity remains the same increasing total profit.
^ yea but you alots ppl ask for full tank and not every one go bye prise my point is that after all there is somthing going in gov's pocket and this is fraud
Full Tank: 35 Liters (for example)
Cost: 35 x Rs.62.13 = Rs.2,174.55
If I pay Rs. 2,175, the petrol pump makes 45 paisas out of it (not 87 paisa x 35 liter = Rs.30.45 as the tv guy is saying) . Furthermore, it DOES NOT go to the fuel distribution companies or the government.
The anchor has done the most stupid calculation one can imagine!
He is also wrong for saying taht we have not seen coins below one rupee for last 30 years. I am 35 and i remember, seeing one paisa coins, rather when i was kid used to buy "paisa" biscuits, small biscuits each for one paisa. Many a times used to buy 15 biscuits for coins of 10 paisa and 5 paisa.
if i am not wrong, most of the transportation businesses in major cities of Pakistan (in fact even in rural areas) are run by policemen, so if not directly thn there is an indirect govt involvement in everything, whether its a lal-mirch or haleem, baspati you just name it n u will see mila-wat in all of them
besides, when you are not issuing any paisaz then why even bother talking about em?
