Really yes.
When we bought our first home, the master bath came with a built in ovehead light like that. You could program it and let it dry out the bathroom. We loved it so much that we now have lamps with the same bulb in our baths here. It takes about 1/2 hour to and hour to dry up the place. The mats get dry as well. Helps take care of the “stale” smell that can set in if the bathrooms are left wet. Try it out. I’ve got our masjid hooked on to these as well!!
And yes, they can make the bathroom real hot, but leave the door open for some time if that’s an issue.
