Does anyone even wear western clothes in Pakistan?
Where do they shop? I am going there this spring and I wanna know if I can get nice clothes that I can wear here.

lol Mr Chia Mian yes they do wear "western clothes" please dont embarass urself describing thoz casuals like that again. in lahore if you go liberty,pace or even panorama they got it all or you can find some real nice stuff at chen-one .. i dono if i spelled that rite but they got some good "WESTERN CLOTHING" lol

There are loads of girls/guys who wear western clothes in Pakistan - you just need to be out of paposh nagar inorder to spot such people - In countries like U.S of A, Canada and U.K. or any other western country a lot of people from the lower, lower middle class have moved in greater rates so when they go back to Pakistan they just keep going back to their villages and small towns like paposh nagar and north nazimabad who then arent able to see the advancement in places like defence and clifton, i am not trying to offend anyone but this is the fact. Girls in Pakistan i.e. Karachi (Defense/Clifton) actually have much better dressing sense then desi girls in western countries, its just that people here learn seeing all the stuff in stores etc whereas people there have to have an eye for good and decent stuff to buy western clothes obviously people from such places can also afford trips abroad hence they also **get branded/designer stuff from there*. Where are you going to land though? karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, else where? *

don't most men wear "western wear" in cities? Just look at street shots in the news, half the guys are wearing pant and shirt

*^ if you are referring this to me then i did say that...defence/clifton are main towns in karachi which people also call as disco places and paposh nagar is not so great place. *

Well I didnt know how to put it. American clothes? no because people all over the western hemisphere wear them. I was referring to women's clothes btw. How would you describe that? You can really say "casuals" because that could refer to desi clothes too.

Yes they do wear western wear, depends what suburb you live in and how freely yu can roam around with western wear.
Jeans however with a T is a norm for college students, my sister is in IBA and when I go through pics from her school the girls are in jeans and Ts.
As for where to get them from, you can try Malls but I discovered a very neat place to shop for western wear the last time I was in karachi.
Went to Zainab market in Saddar. There are actually small shops tht sell all sorts of womens western wear. You wont believe the Ts they have and the long skirts are so stylish. Plus they are very affordable.
The change rooms are very tiny, they dont have acs, just fans and half the time the power is out so its very very hot in the shops but if you are up for it then its worth the effort.

There is also Mantra in park towers which almost all the girls find very stylish - but honestly when i went there i didnt like it, there is a levis store,Nike, Reebok store in park towers and forum. But zainab Market and a few shops in Dolmen center are the best...check out United colors of Benetton as well.

The shops in pak tower and forum sell stuff at a ridiculously high price and they dont have much variety.
There is a shop in Dolmen on lvl2 right across the elevators and that shop is 
Expensive though

^ I can't tolerate the rush in Zainab market so i just u from the places i mentioned - if i feel like and have time i go to Zainab Market.

Zainab market is yeah a bit of a hassle, you need time, patience and tolerance to stand the heat, rush and makhian

Oh you forgot the bargain part. But people there have gotten so chalak, they have fixed price written on black boards..so people dont bargain.

Really?? I know shops in tariq road have but big shops like Gul Ahmed and stuff ofcourse you cannot bargain they have fixed price but not in Zainab market.
O God im dying to go back and shop shop shop

Now even zainab market has silly signs - gul ahmed etc well it is understood you cannot bargain; but now even little little shops have no bargain policy.

Well my recent visit to Zainab market - to buy some western dresses - was a total turn off!! I met with a similar experience & found a few skirts of not worth buying at expensive prices. On the other hand, the only solution remains searching on the internet.
Filtering down more, from a handful of websites, only Daraz.pk offers international shipping of western dresses. New Arrivals are a must have to look for at budgeted prices and they are offering the same newsletter discount with it as well.
