A friend of mine is getting engaged and I need something to wear! She isn’t Pakistani, so I want to wear a western dress, maybe with some pakistani/indian influences. Most western party dresses are sleeveless, but I want something that at least covers all of my shoulders. If you have any ideas/pics, please post them! Thanx!!!
if you want something sort of fusion style, how about these? you could have them made with sleeves.

wear ur eastern karprai yaar, they’ll look a lot nicer than any western clothes guaranteed :k: ] + u’ll stand out infront of other guests and u will be promoting ur rich culture in a way via ur mashraki clothes.

my statement mite seem inaccurate to u but that isn't or mite not be the case with every 1 else. everybody has a different thought process, not a lot of ppl think alike.... 2condly as far as i can recall, on this site me and u have never agreed on just about anything, so there's a surpirse.
- check out the dresses u have posted! some have bad ghala {for instance the black dress}, other dresses have bare arms + there is a skirt with a slit... leg's will be visible if worn et cetera. indeed a gr8 collection of kaprai to choose from rite.
^ As I said in my post, these are just to get ideas. You can change galas, sleeves, length, etc to your own taste and sense of modesty. I was working with what I found on the site. Some had pretty styles, colors, prints. They can be changed to fit what each individual likes.
As for your statement that everyone has their own opinion and different sense of taste and propriety, I totally agree with. I think you should actually apply it to your own limited understanding of the world.
I do object to your assumption that desi clothes are the most "mashraki" clothes. But it is your opinion, and only that.

I think u shoud butt out as u know nothing about me @ all... having said that for u to then say that my understanding of this world is limited is kind of bizarre and uncalled for.
- i am not the only 1 who thinks mashraki kaprai r the best, i'm sure there r a lot of ppl around the world who share this opinion, for arguments sake, if this was not the case then i don't think y our kaprai would have become so popular amongst non-asians! high street shops in england r full of our clothes i c non-asians buying them, this fact tells me that; there is someik' about of our clothes that's appreciated.
