westerners are always coined as cold hearted, but these days i am noticing almost everyday and that people in Pakistan, in fact many who only visited urban areas like once or twice in their life time and the spent almost their entire life in semi urban or posh rural ares of Pakistan, are sooooooo cold hearted, especially they take their relative (who are living abroad) for granted.
cost of living is pretty high outside of Pakistan, and working 9-5 + weekly groceries + etc is something which always makes the one to keep a good track record of their cash flow.
but ur relatives in Pakistan not only take you as money making machine (and we are making money for them) but also take you as one heart-less person.
for example, they will sent u gila-shikwa for not sending them condolences to someone particular person (even though we did) but they never bother to call us when my khala, and phupo died.
so i wana ask are these behaviors are normal in Pakistan? or am i the only one facing these rare issues?
i honestly dont see the essence of desh ki mitti or us ki muhabatt kinda things there days. (even though i its attractive) but ppl are so rude. they are always scanning u.
