My Two Cents :
Saddam gets put on trial for mass murder during his brutal time in power, yet Sharon and other Israeli war criminals walk scot-free as if they own this earth, and no-one has the power to stop them. They are equally as guilty; but alas they are not muslim, Arab or brown - that is the key.
You have a point,but there have been other horrible dictators who are not presecuted as well. That is because whatever they do, it is not againss the interests of the US/West.
Saddam killed for many years, US didn’t care, and actually supported him, only when he threatened their oil supply did they attack.
And as for Sharon, and Shabra and Shatila, he will never be done for it,Jewish lobby has too much influence.
Don't worry Musharaff thinks Ariel Sharon is a Hero even though he killed thousands of civillians in refugee camps. People who think like this are the ones who make this world a much worse place there time will come sooner or later!
Hypocricy? I’ll give you hypocricy. Who massacred nearly ten times as many Muslims in 1982 as Sharon? Assad in Syria. Have you ever heard a Muslim speak badly about Syria? Ask for an investigation into the killings in 1982? Ask for the war criminals and living generals to be brought to trial?
It’s true. Sharon may have had a third party role in the Sabra and Shatilla massacres where between 2,200 and 2,800 were killed by the Druze Militia. But Assad may have killed as many as 25,000! He pounded a city of mostly civilians with artillery for days with NO effort to spare civilians, and virtually no one knows that he is ten times the criminal as Sharon!
So much more convenient to blame Sharon, but Muslims are far more likely to be killed by their own leaders.

In February 1982 the secular Syrian government of President Hafez al-Assad faced a mortal threat from Islamic extremists, who sought to topple the Assad regime. How did it respond? President Assad identified the rebellion as emanating from Syria’s fourth-largest city — Hama — and he literally leveled it, pounding the fundamentalist neighborhoods with artillery for days. Once the guns fell silent, he plowed up the rubble and bulldozed it flat, into vast parking lots. Amnesty International estimated that 10,000 to 25,000 Syrians, mostly civilians, were killed in the merciless crackdown. Syria has not had a Muslim extremist problem since.
I visited Hama a few months after it was leveled. The regime actually wanted Syrians to go see it, to contemplate Hama’s silence and to reflect on its meaning. I wrote afterward, “The whole town looked as though a tornado had swept back and forth over it for a week — but this was not the work of mother nature.”
I hope both of them are hung by their bollox (although Assad’s soul has escaped punishment - may he rot away in his grave). The thing that really annoys me is that Basher Assad, the boy king of Syria, is a dictator and there’s no democracy in Syria. His wife was brought up in England and went to school there, even then it hasn’t rubbed off. If you challenge or criticise Basher or his wife you will probably get killed. These Syrians and Lebanese are also fiercely nationalist, I’d say they’re fascists just like the rest of the Aye-Rabbs. That’s why they can’t have nuclear weapons and Pakistan can, because Pakistanis are not fiercely nationalist, we’re just patriotic.
Ummmm how about yes they have, just as they have asked about the US puppet saddam, Ghaddafi, AL sauds and the rest of the tyrants the US gives support to! and 2 wrongs don’t make a right ariel sharon is a brutal sadistic murderer no two ways about it no matter how angelic you try to portray him with your propoganda.
