Actually, Desi raised in west or (even middle east ) are so naive about some harsh realities like crime, and weather conditions and trafic and crookedness of people …
And they even have no idea how to manage the luxuries …like how to use servents.They have no concept of domestic servents. They consider utilising servent as if they are voilating basic human rights or something 
The funny thing shopkeeper consider them easy prey due to their accent, if you can’t converse in regional language, if you can’t bargain properly … you are in deeeeep trouble 
Its like animal raised in zoo and then left in jungle, can’t survive.
Pakistan is a Jungle no doubt, every kind of danger is present Its the survival of the fittest. Sometimes even fittest fall down
