Re: Western dress for friend's wedding
a long scarf that drapes around the shoulders might be a good idea.
Re: Western dress for friend's wedding
Aaww you girls are too sweet - thanks for all your sugggestions!! I like coast dresses but nothing stands out at the moment. I'm trying to avoid a strapless dress cos cleavage will show.
Milly, I live just outside of London so willing checking all the London stores. Am also visiting dubai soon so pehaps I may find something there...fingers crossed
Re: Western dress for friend's wedding
Unless you know where to look in Dubai and have the money I doubt you will find anything there that you cannit find in London. I got gyped by H&M in Dubai, stuff about £4 more expensive...that whole 'Zero Tax' thing is BS!
You need to spend a couple of hours online trolling though Asos, Shop Style, ebay and whatnot and then hit the shops, Oxford street first, Covent Garden (if you have the money), Brent Cross, Westfields, check out the Coast outlet in Bicester Village too.
Re: Western dress for friend's wedding
I checked all the above before coming to the conclusion that there is nothing nice around at the moment.
I would go to Covent Garden though because they have some boutique shops. Actually, just try to find boutique shops for dresses around London. My Egyptian friend who attends at least 2 weddings a year hardly every gets her dresses from regular shops.
