Re: Western Culture deprives children of their Inheritence
**Gifts are made while a person is alive. and there are No limitations on that
Inheritance however goes to heirs after a person passes away!
In Islam inheritance laws list of heirs are predefined by the Holy Quran! and the Sunnah of Our Prophet PBUH!
therefore one should follow them!
However in western culture one can leave all ones wealth to ones favorite pet or person or organization in ones will!
and if a person dies without a will the State decides where his inheritance goes and it is usually to his wife and children!
Where as in Islamic Law if one passes away without a recorded will then the property is distributed per the rulings of Holy Quran and Hadith!**
