What would South Africa need to do (according to you) to cast the "chokers" tag aside finally?
Exactly.
Even If SA 'choke' they atleast make sure that they go deep into every tournament, not like us. And I would n't call it choking exactly because most of their losses are usu. very close affairs. I have rarely seen SA lose games by big margins. The problem India, Pakistan and WI face is not only do they choke early in big tournaments but also most of their losses are usu. embarrassing/heavy defeats, downright humiliation.

South Africa is a very good team and a relevant threat in this World Cup; problem is they lack a quality spinner. Just a regular spinner would help. People will talk about Malinga in SL vs SA game, but it was Murli who broke the game for SL.

Correct. Boje was the man but the selectors kept trying all other quota players while every now and then running back to him until he told them to go xxx themselves.
We have at least 3 other better spinners than the Petersen but he was needed to fill the quota. Now it seem Smith and Arthur is too scared to used him as needed because it force them to leave another valuable player out of the team. Instead of Prince, they should have left Kemp out of the team against SL, for instance.
I am one that wanted Klusener to go with the team instead of the drinks carrier Telemarkus. Klusener (ignoring his batting ability) did very well with slow as well as medium-fast bowling whenever RSA toured the West Indies. He could have given the much needed variation.
