west Indies beat India by 16 runs in the final of the tri nation tournament in Zimbabwe. West Indians scored 290 runs in 50 overs, India replied by scoring 274/8 in the 50 overs.
As usual when the big ocassion demanded a big innings Tendulkar failed to deliver. Dighe played a gem of an innings.
donno about other indians. i dont feel very sorry about the loss. frm 83/5, 274/8 was quite a bit. sodhi did well. harbhajan put good breaks. shevag should not have bowled so much as ganguly allowed him to and a over or two by tendu would not hurt as far as gang's captaincy goes. except that, i am not very unhappy. new guys seem to have attitude and character in tough times. rest of the things will come.

It was the final match that's why. However no one has stopped you from posting India's victories if you so wish and furthermore while you roam around looking for bad news on Pakistan sports and posting it, why is it that you can never post anything good about Pakistan sport.

I dont understand u. U know why?. Everytone has a right to have a say/opinion. And that rihgt should be respected. For my sack it does not matter whether India Won/lost. But if the moderatot is putting a post up it should not matter at all and should not offend any Indian.
And another thing Monk. I play cricket myself as well. And u cant support two teams at a time dear!!. May be the moderator supported Westindians.And thats why he has shown gratitude. And I ofcourse joined in cause I am on his side as well. I wanted the westindians to win. Plz if any Indians reading dont take it personal, everyone has freedom of choice and ought to be respected.

I LOVE watching India lose. You're a crap team, with crap supporters - you've only got one player (Tendulkar) without whom your second rate team can only dream of having Pakistan's flair and creativity. How long is it since you had a decent fast bowler?

Ehsan, Pakistan in the recent concluded series could not even set a decent score and where as India loosing to W.Indies I think both the teams had given their 100%, the game was not dominated by one side until the 45th Over and all we can say is the team that did its best won.

The question here is not about your right to support one team and hate another.I dont care if you drown yourself in champagne everytime India loses.
But the point I am trying to make is about what you (as a moderator) think is worth discussing in this forum and what is not.As I said earlier you tend to start threads(for good or bad) on all kinds of news-items related to cricket but when it comes to India-related news - you only post a thread when India loses a match. (Like when India lost the 2nd Test to Zimbabwe).You probably feel that an Indian victory is not worth discussing.As opposed to ordinary members like most of us, you as a moderator are not expected to be biased in choosing the topics you want to discuss.
P.S: I never said that anybody stopped me from posting a topic here but I am discussing your attitude here.

nothing wrong but ehsan got irritated when india won in tennis or something and chili started a topic. his claim was that why a topic is not started by chili even when non-india wins, say someone from kazakstan.
now u may ask why should anyone care what ehsan says. we wont, unless he was a moderator of forum.
