Re: Were You influenced more by your Mother or your Father?
I lived with my mother for most part of my life, so she definitely influenced me a lot more than my dad. My fears and perception of people come from her. She was the one who made me sit down and study, that's influence. I don't know if I would have been this good at studying(I've been told I am good) if it weren't for my mom's persistence.
My dad has had a lot of influence on me despite not living with me. My thinking and actions are more in sync with him than my mom or so I've been told. My sister's always telling me I sound like him a lot, my Urdu at least.
Both me and my sister take after our dad in the looks department.
Re: Were You influenced more by your Mother or your Father?
I look like my mum but personality wise I'm much more like my dad.. He has influenced me a lot more and I'm more in sync with his views on life, religion etc.
Re: Were You influenced more by your Mother or your Father?
I look like my mother but influence immensely with my father. My thinking, my actions, my deeds are more towed with my Father's line. This even though I have spent more time with ammi but most of the time when she had to teach us something, she used to give example of our father on how hard working, caring and loving person he is.
Were You influenced more by your Mother or your Father?
I spent a lot more time with my mum but have a better relationship and understanding with my dad.. I believe I have my own thinking as sometimes I feel alien to both parents.. but as far as more influence goes it has to be my dad.
A lot of my aadat is like his.
Re: Were You influenced more by your Mother or your Father?
We spent the major part of our life with ammi, so in some ways she has heavily influenced us. But I believe I am more like my father in many ways, though girls/women are supposed to take after their mothers.
Re: Were You influenced more by your Mother or your Father?
My mom. Even though I was just a little kid, I still remember the things she'd say. The way she spoke and acted around people. She was such an amazing woman.
I feel like I think like her. The way I am around people is very much how she used to be.
My father and I have never been close. When I lived with my father I followed the ways of mother. Everything from manners to mazhab I have learned from my mom. Dad never taught us anything, sad.
Re: Were You influenced more by your Mother or your Father?
my father is the one who made what i am today! i had lost my mom when i was 9 so i didn't have much meaningful interaction except getting motherly love!
