I was finnancially stable Allhamdullillah but now i’m working much harder and saving up a lot more than I used to… My wife lived in comfort before and now has even more things to be pleased about but we are waiting for the special treasure to come our way…

Stable is different for everyone but for me it would mean just enough to support a family. I dont want him to have it all before I walk into his life...ya know?

I have heard that before too, but I don't quite understand why. Why do you think its better if he achieves some of that in his life with you around?

^ I think because in that case, its something you built together......whereas if a guy has everything, then marrying you is seen as just obtaining another "thing"....i think thats the perception smoetimes...

its quite interesting to know that people were not 'financially stable'...maybe also, because you go through becoming stable together...your relationship is better somehow as you have seen 'bad' times?

No, we weren't. When we started out my husband had just completed his degree and started a professional job...he was still paying his student loans. We didn't have a TV and the only piece of furniture was a mattress and a cheap dinette. Now, we are doing well alhumdulillah! I miss those days! :)
