If Australia beats Pakistan and India beats West Indies (both highly likely outcomes) then India will end up #1 in Group A and Pakistan #4 in Group B.
India and Pakistan will then face off in the first quarterfinal.

Africa loses from either IRE or BD

Canada beats Aus then there r few possibilities
Other than that

I think Pakistan will try to avoid QF IN India more than playing with India. If Pakistan plays India in SL or BD, I am sure they will have fair share of support on the ground.

they will collapse like a deck of cards...

With Canadian, Holland etc players with Pakistani Origin having problem in getting Indian Visa for WC, how many normal Pakistanis do you think will be able to get visas? take a pick 10...20...30 ?

Yep if they go to support Pakistan who will make sure they come back to Pak ? What if PAK won ?
I dont think picthes will be issue, our top order will finally get an excuse to score runs.

About whether Pakistan is willing to Play India .... Oh yea baby ! remember Paks got nuthing to lose we have a weak team anyway and India has everything to lose... One they r considered Favs by their Supporters, two they dont wana lose from Pakistan with such a strong team, three where will they go if they lost from Pakistan in India ?
But remember that an India vs Pak WC match brings out the best in the Indian team ;)

yes i remember..... A while ago India vs Pak ICC CUP match use to bring out the best in indian team.... Then we beat em in ICC trophy match so now India vs Pak WC match brings out the best in Indian team.

I think the opportunity to knock out "favorites" India out of the WC in their own backyard is too good to pass up. Granted we only have a 25% of succeeding, it's still worth it.

Its called being realistic, however i wud say Pak Has atleast 40 to 45 % chances but India is on stronger side. You shld be little realistic to and ask yourself if u r actually planning to wind world cup with the bowling u have ?

Lets not get too ahead of ourselves. I would recommend waiting till you actually defeat a test playing nation (other than Bangladesh) in this WC before making such bold predictions :).
