Look guys if you are objecting because of religious reasons, I can’t argue .. me being *mushrik *and all. But in my view if they do donate and if the money does feed even thousand hungry survivors for a week, than IMHO it would be worth offending the sensibilities of all prim and propah types.

This line of argument degenerates quickly. I won’t bore you with the slippery slope, but the bottom line is that women in bikinis is not a necessary precondition to solicit funds for aid. And if that’s what it takes to get aid from certain people, then quite frankly neither the community at large and no doubt most of the victims, (many of whom are actually fasting no less), wants the aid. Yes, I realize that line of reasoning too leads down a slippery slope. But there is an asymmetry between directly receiving aid from such an event, and receiving aid from a government that presides/allows such events, or worse, to occur regularly.
