A reader raised a very interesting and a real point. He quoted a Lahore Daily which publishes so many scandals through the source of its so called inspection team. After publishing the story and following up for a day or two all of a sudden the subject disappears with a fresh one. The reader said the daily appears to be acting on N.A.B formula that of starting the case (story), “bargaining” and then Tain Tain Fish. The reader quoted example of a big writer who writes on “Ikhlaqiat” but was not vacating his Raiwind House taken on rent and was using his influence to harasse the landlord. This daily brought this Ikhlaqiat episode to knowledge of readers but after the “bargaining” it never touched the story again what happened to poor landlord. This is really a very deep observation of the reader. Three years back about 100 orphans, run always from home, illegitimate born children ran away from Edhi Home in Karachi. A search team was formed. Edhi blamed this a technique to defame his organization. But the writer Muno Bhai on this wrote a very deep thinking column. He said these children were from poor families. They had nothing to eat in their own homes. They luckily came to the heaven of Edhi home where they had every blessing a good home, good food, good clothes. He questioned were these 100 children mentally mad that they ran away from this Janat. He demanded this point should be investigated by bringing these children back and enquiring from them honestly why they ran. I wish some one informs the readers and citizens of this country were those children found and what they told their reason of running away from Edhi Janat. Knowing this would in fact reveal was it was conspiracy or for some due reason children preferred.
