Unfortunately the thread was posted by pathan_sahib therefore instead of discussing the topic it turned into “its my thread..I wanna say the last word…I’m sticking to my unsupported arguments..me me me” kinda idiotic, childish and immature babbling. Anyway, I do agree with you when u say ‘welcome to the real world where insensitivity exists big time’. I’m shocked to read how people are relying on women to be responsible so that they can be responsible for their actions…if that was the case then everyone of them needs a leash…otherwise god knows what they will end up doing.
Moderators are in a tough boat in this section but we as members need to be more aware on how to continue our discussions and ignore idiots. I would hate to see you disappointed….you have made some good points in that thread….happy posting
the problem, sometimes, with a public forum is that its Public. YOu get a mixed bag of participants and not everyone will share you views or “values”. You can only argue with “idiots” upto a point. After that, you must ignore them or move on. SO don’t be discouraged by few bad seeds or when you don’t make headway with the crowd. Those who see eye to eye with you and/or agree with you will always be around, but not necessarily voice in their opinions everytime.

Another thing: Posting the warning on the discussions page is fine but there should be an explicit warning page that should come up announcing the sensitive nature of the room and suggesting to leave if the reader is below age, which can not be ascertained like how the porno sites do, or if the reader is quizzy about facing certain types of topics.
My opinion.... I generally hit the room name on the top of the page. I saw the warning today.....and I have been in the room a time or two myself before today.
I do appreciate you taking my suggestion in account and hope that second will be considered. It's for the good of everyone as much as more warnings that can be posted for this section. Rest is your decision. Thanks again.
Thanks for the second suggestion. It is also a good one and was proposed when this section was being considered.
We decided to leave that additional frame for when we upgrade the entire bulletin board later this year. It requires a bit more manipulation than we are prepared to do right now.
