JazakAllah khair everyone for the kind and sincere welcome. It is indeed an honor and a source of encouragement for an ordinary person like me to be part of a team comprising of such great people. (Masha’Allah). My hearty congratulations to everyone else who recently got this opportunity to serve fellow people on this forum and improve themselves. I humbly thank Allah (s.w.t) for blessing me with an opportunity to learn from experienced and learned people of this forum. I offer my sincere du’as for all of you and wish that Allah (SWT) makes this responsibility for me an opportunity to grow in Islamic understanding, tolerance and piety. I extend my well wishes to my companion moderators.
I consider it a great burden for me to have been selected by Ehsan bhai for this duty but at the same time it is an honour to have been teamed up with sister Lusi and brother Submission to Peace. I believe the three of us have distinctly different approaches that can be put to use, inshaAllah.
This is a religion and scripture forum so please bring topics from a diversity of religions and scriptures to really make this a worthwhile experience. In addition can I remind that in such places we should observe sensitivities of others so we should deal with topics rather than the posters themselves and we should bring evidence when making claims and we should try to be accurate.
However, I hope my peers would agree that it is still good to see all the passion that is offloaded here so please if you can find this balance to ensure that you are heard, and it will increase likelihood of your angle to be accepted by others.
Let me thank and supplicate for brother Code_Red for holding this fort in his time as moderator. Any good that comes herein is from Allah (SWT) and any bad is a result of my own shortfalls.
