How to upload videos to Gupshup Video Gallery:

Install the software:

  1. Download the software from HERE (Its a 6 meg download. Sorry!)
  2. Install it.
  3. When it asks you to install Windows Media Encoder click Yes.
  4. Run it from Start | Programs | Gupshup | Gupshup Video Gallery

Uploading:

There are two forms of uploads, direct recording from Webcam and upload file from disk. Both are heavily compressed before upload.

For Recording from Webcam you just need to click record. You may need to set temp file size in File | Allocate file Space for longer videos.

For uploading a file from disk just goto File | Upload From Disk… . Due to different codecs this software might not be able to recompress some files, these files will not upload. Real Media/*.mov files are not supported.

Video format and source can be set from the Options menu.

This software is in testing phase so theres bound to be few bugs. I will keep updating it and hopefully It will stabilize in sometime. Please feel free to tell us about any bugs you encounter.

Yer default wmv player needs to Windows Media Player.

You can also copy paste the link in WM Player. Theres nothing wrong with the 'viewing' part of the movies.

When i upload from disk, and click on Compress And Upload, it says:
No profile is set for the source

I get this error everytime I try to post a .AVI file.. :mad:

when i try to log in , it just says LOGGING IN(this might take a while) and stays like that for like hours....
somebody pleeeees help.
