Welcome Rajab

Rajab marks the beginning of the spiritual season of every believer ending with the end of the fasting month of Ramadan with the Eid Al Fitr. These three months are unmatched in their importance. Praise be to the Almighty and thanks to Him for granting us yet another opportunity to cleanse ourselves of our sins and oversights.](Dua's for the Month of Rajab)

The Holy Prophet (SAW) has said:

“ Rajab is a great month of Allah, unmatched by any other month in the respect and significance (accorded to it); war with the infidels during this month is prohibited; Verily, Rajab is Allah’s month, Sha’aban my month and Ramadan the month of my Ummah; whosoever fasts a day in the month of Rajab will be granted the great reward of Ridwan (an angel in heaven); the wrath of Allah shall be distanced and a door of the Hell shall be closed.”

Rajab Mubarak to you all

The literal meaning of Rajab is: “To revere, to regard as great.” The custodians of the Kaaba keep it open from the first of Rajab to the last, out of reverence and respect for this month. In other months, they keep the shut except on Mondays and Thursdays. They say: “This month is God’s Month and this house is God’s House. Since man is God’s servant how can we keep him out of God’s House in God’s Month?”

The blessed Messenger is reported as saying: “My Community, be careful to take advantage of Allah’s month (that is, the month of Rajab). The month of Rajab is certainly Allah’s month. If someone who hope for reward from Allah will fast one day in the month, Paradise will his of right. He will definitely go to Paradise.
If he keeps two fasts for two days he will attain a position in the sight of Allah such as no one in heaven or earth can describe. If he fasts for three days he becomes immune to the sorrows of this world and the torments of the Hereafter, to madness, elephantiasis and leprosy, and to the mischief of other people.
For anyone who fasts for seven days in the month of Rajab, the seven Gates of Hell will be shut. If he fasts for eight days to earn the pleasure of Allah, the Gates of Paradise will be opened for him. If he fasts for ten days Allah will grant whatever he wishes. If he fasts for fifteen days, his former sins are not only forgiven, but transformed into good deeds. If anyone fasts for more than fifteen days, Allah will increase reward accordingly.”

Thawban, one of the noble Companions, relates: “I was with the blessed Prophet when we came upon a cemetery. Our Master stopped there and began to weep. His breast became moist with the tears that flowed from his eyes. I went up to him and asked: “O Messenger of Allah, my mother, my father and I myself be your ransom, why are you weeping? Has a revelation come down to you?” He replied: “O Thawban, those who lie here, the dead who occupy this cemetery, are suffering the Torment of the Tomb. It is on account of their condition that I weep.” He then continued: “If they had spent any of the days of the month of Rajab fasting and had worshipped Allah at night, they would have been spared this torment.”

When the month of Rajab is over it enters the Divine Presence and the All-Glorious and Exalted One says to it: “O My Month! I wonder if they loved you? Did My Servants treat you with respect?” The month of Rajab will say nothing in reply, though the Lord will ask the same question over and over again until Rajab finally says: “O Lord, you are the Veiler of Faults! You have commanded Your servants to hide the faults of others. Your Messenger named me the ‘Deaf Month’. I heard what Your servants did in obedience but I was deaf to their disobedience and sin.” This explains why the month of Rajab is known as the ‘Deaf Month’.
The All-Glorious One says: “You are My month, you hear no sin. Since you accepted My servants along with their sins and disobedience, I have done likewise and forgiven them for your sake. Provided they once show remorse, I shall forgive them any sin and disobedience they commit during you.”

The following noble Tradition was reported by venerable Hasan, beloved grandson of the blessed Prophet: “There are four nights in the year when Allah’s mercy, forgiveness, generosity, bounty and grace fall like rain upon the world. Blessed are they who know or will come to know the value of these nights, namely: 1) The first night of the noble month of Rajab; 2) The night of Bara’a (Absolution), the fifteenth night of the noble month of Shaban; 3) The night of the feast of Ramadan; 4) The night of the feast of Sacrifice.”

Those who serve Allah, who love Allah and are friends with Allah are not left in the darkness. When they leave this world they find happiness everlasting. They go to eternal life. They are accorded bounties such as no eyes have ever seen, or ears heard tell of, inconceivable to human mind and heart. Take advantage of such days; seize the opportunity they present. Before long you will be taken from this guest house in a coffin and, to the sorrow of your friends and the delight of your foes, you will be consigned to that dreadful hole, all alone there with your deeds.

Furqan thanks for sharing that site.

You need to be a little more responsible when attributing things to Allah's Messenger (saw)... you have some homework to do...

gupguppy, if you look in the first post, there is a small dot, thats the reference site.
and the second post, sorry my bad, i didnt give reference,
it's from the book 'Irshad' by Sheikh Muzaffer Ozak Al-Jerrahi, translated by Muhtar Holland. Everything in the second post is in 'The Fifteenth Discourse' of the book.

^^

Those web pages don't provide any references either, nor authentication etc.... back to square one...

Isra and Miraj is when when the Prophet peace be on him, went on the night journey to al-aqsa mosque, then he ascended to the heavens with Jibrael.
He met the Prophets(peace be on them all), on different heavens, and then he met Allah.
He did not see Allah.

Surah 17, The Night Journey.
1."Glory to ((Allah)) Who did take His servant for a Journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the farthest Mosque, whose precincts We did bless,- in order that We might show him some of Our Signs: for He is the One Who heareth and seeth (all things). "

Isra and Miraj is either on saturday night or sunday night, for those who wish to do some ibadah.. this is a great opportunity to.

*2 corrections: number 1} prophet mohammed :saw: during the 1st part of the heavenly journey, they :saw: were taken to masjid-al-aqsa on buraq by BOTH hazrat jibrael and hazrat mikael not just jibrael!

number 2} it’s a misconception by many that prophet mohammed :saw: never met allah and talked them they did see them with their own eyes and had a discussion! prophet :saw: told their companions that one of the things the glorious allah said to the holy prophet :saw: was that to tell your ummah to pray namaaz 5 times a day.

may allah forigve me if i’ve mistaken.*

Can you provide any evidence that Prophet :saw: actually saw Allah :swt: with his own eyes?

*^ it’s all about having belief bro M, if you don’t believe there is any truth in what i have wrote their then don’t believe me, i know prophet :saw: and allah ezo-wajal sat @ 2 arrow’s distance to each other on miraj-un-nabi :saw: and interacted, that’s enough for me. *

Yes belief based on some sort of evidence, we cant just mention something out of nowhere and then say its about belief.

Anyway Im asking because Musa :as: asked to see Allah :swt:, but wasnt able to.

correction, musa kaleem allah did indeed ask allah i want to see you and he kept doing israar and allah said ok come to mountain toor, when he did, the sky split in 2 and a atom of allah’s noor and tagaliyaat ascended from the heavens but hazrat musa :as: fell unconscious and when they woke up they found the whole moutain toor had turned balck, such was the force of allah’s noor and that 2 a atom’s size not whole. *

^ exactly thats what I had meant, he wasnt able to even handle an atom of Allahs :swt: noor, so how would our Prophet :saw: be able to see Allah with his own eyes, you must bring evidence, as yet you still havent brought any.
