Came back briefly now and last year, after several years, and am pretty disappointed to see how dead and gloomy this place has become. Back then mid-2000’s, this place was popping. Every day somebody would flood the cafe and brag about it on gs chat. Good memories. I don’t remember why i left, maybe a fallout with some mod. think i got banned for a weekend and gave up.
I miss GS Chat.

I completely understand and in agreement with you but like any house, a place gets life with the people there. And if they leave there isnt anything left behind. While GS is being revamped its a golden opportunity for all of us who liked this place for even a single moment to come back and stick around and make this place great again.
More people, more gupshup.. its that simple.

I think social media undoubtedly killed platforms like gs. Also, back in the day, people were more enthusiastic about “the internetz”, forum’ing, online chats, etc. That trend seemed to have ended as well. Good luck anyways. Make GS great again!
