**
The actors have previously worked together six years ago and are looking forward to doing so again.
The story of ‘Welcome 2 Karachi’ explores how two adventurers find themselves in the port city amid the current political instability, said the Times of India](Irrfan Khan, Arshad Warsi team up for 'Welcome to Karachi' | Hindi Movie News - Times of India).
When asked why Karachi was the chosen one, director Rohit Shetty disclosed toFilmfare, “Karachi when compared to any other place is considered to be the most dangerous city, but it’s the people who make the perception. Good human beings are everywhere and that’s what I would like to show through my film,”

propaganda.....

Re: Welcome 2 Karachi

Yea. Tell them to stop obsessing over Pak.
We don't like their portrayal of us. Period.

Re: Welcome 2 Karachi

I watched D-Day just to see how they imitate Karachi. It wasn't good at all. Hoping for a better attempt this time.

Re: Welcome 2 Karachi

Altaf Hussain doesn’t even live in Karachi, he hasn’t been to Pakistan in over 20 years -he’s a Londoner and he wasn’t even born in Pakistan :hehe: besides “Karachiite” isn’t an ethnicity.

Re: Welcome 2 Karachi

gems that reflect the true confusion of elusive national identity here.

yes pal, if all those whose parents were indian suddenly become indian, that make for certain deep voids - literally, figuratively and also between some people’s ears. #denialaintariverinegyptbrah](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=denialaintariverinegyptbrah) #nomesayn](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=nomesayn)

Altaf Hussain - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Born 17 September 1953 (age 60)
Karachi, Pakistan
Nationality

Overseas Pakistani

defensive in that no one said anywhere Altaf represents all of Pakistan, but you, princessjal are backpedaling frantically over this. why?

Re: Welcome 2 Karachi

queer could nt prove his point. No need for this post, now.

Re: Welcome 2 Karachi

brilliant! i couldnt have said it any better. :hehe:

Re: Welcome 2 Karachi

Idk what you’re talking about; I do consider Pakistanis of Indian(Muhajir) descent as Pakistani but Altaf considers himself an Indian that’s why he a threaten’s to break Karachi away from Pakistan -even though he’s only a first generation Pakistani.

Fair enough, but I remember reading elsewhere that on his British passport -Agra, India is mentioned as his place of birth.

He doesn’t represent any part of Pakistan, you had to bring up Altaf Hussain for no effin reason -you could have mentioned Jinnah who was actually born, raised and buried there.

Re: Welcome 2 Karachi

Yeh, this Proved indians and people who have indian background are dark complexioned when they compared to Pakistanies. And this proves u wrong @queer

Re: Welcome 2 Karachi

Yes, the easiest way to make someone unpopular in Pakistan is to label them Indian. Altaf considers himself Pakistani. Here you go.

Not a separatist party but the party that continues to rule over Karachi from decades. Even living in exile, this guy is a mainstream kingmaker wooed regularly by everyone from Zardari to Imran Khan.

More rumors. Any proof of this? Any mentions anywhere you can put forth here to support this claim?

Sure, the leader of a national as well as regional party that monopolizes rule over Karachi does not represent anything Pakistan. lulz](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=lulz)

Re: Welcome 2 Karachi

Of course, my fellow rafeeq. I wonder what these “Indian background” Pakistanis feel about your rather interesting conclusions. :flowers:

Re: Welcome 2 Karachi

queer , u are failed. You could nt prove ur point and now u are bringin non issues to this thread. And for ur info, Altaf hussain was not born in Karachi.. Do not rely on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not considered credible and Reliable source.

Re: Welcome 2 Karachi

And please make sure that that version of BP does not have blemishes and scratch marks on his face. :snooty:

BTW, some equal opportunity snobs (like me) happen to think that most of the population of this Earth including the general population of Pakistan, is harsh on the eyes. :bummer:

Then I am reminded that God made everybody so I am really criticizing God. :bummer:
May He forgive me. Ameen.

I want to judge you.
Please post pic, asap.
And no fakes, please.
I wants to see what kind of Neanderthal you are. :chai:

Interestingly, when I said ‘their portrayal of us’, I was thinking mannerism, speech and overall character. I wasn’t thinking of physical appearance.
