So, what makes a man think he has a right to take a photograph of a girl? That's like touching her without her permission.
This is why I say - men are pigs. They think they have a God-given right to mess around in whatever way they want andno one can say anything.I should have definitely said something to my friend, who was the hostess last night.
I just moved out of the way, and hid behind another wall, so I wasn't in his line of photography.
See the contradiction?
Instead you decided to say something on internet!
Now that's 'God-given power' to men, innit? lol
Next time go and say it directly. Take someone like a friend with you. Ask the person politely to delete those photos if so upset.
P.S. Touching is different than taking photos. I know that was bad of him even though you were not in your 'private' moment there anyway.
cell phones with cameras are so not a good idea for this very reason, freaks can go around taking anyone's pic without anyone really noticing. once, i caught this weirdo in a mall taking a pic of my 4 yr old with his phone, i went and called mall secuirty...i stayed long enough to see his pics deleted and then i left, don't now what they did with him. it was a very creepy experience. should be laws against it.
Went to a party tonight and caught a guy taking pics of me chupke chupke. His face is freaky.
Why do men do such weird things?
That moron has no clue how terribly un-photogenic I am. Ha. Ha
Admit it.........you're more flattered than creeped out. (J/K)
So, your main concern here is that you're not photogenic? What about the idea of him doing something wrong with your pictures? It's obvious that he lacks social grace/ettiquette.........he might be lacking in scruples too. What if he's the peeping tom type? The kind that jhanks into peoples bedrooms with binoculars?
Now.......if he made an attempt at some sort of conversation/banter after snapping a pic of you........some of the weirdness could be...erm....smoothed out or played off. But if he just snapped and said nothing.............that's even more weird.
Usually, confronting a 'weirdo' makes no sense becausehe'll enjoy it.
I did what PCG did - tried to hide.
But yeah - not too late to give the host a heads-up on this guy?
Hardly a reason not to confront directly or with a friend.
Most of the time it is flattering for girls unless they are religious (still secretly flattered) or the man is not attractive or available kind. Again it was not a private moment.
Desi people can't be trusted. Easy for them to say it was me being crazy even thinking he could be Doing such a thing. If I was on my own turf it would be different. He is close to the host's family and that whole family is filled with drama queens.
I didn't want to take my chances.
An um, yah my primary concern is what will he do with the pics?
A little OT but I used to browse through some of hte pictures at Ratedesi and wonder how some people can hvae such lewd pictures and even worse descriptions...and still call themselves Proud Muslims/desis.
It wasn't til I found my picture there that i realized those pics were most likely fake. :(
