So has anyone heard of using your coffee maker to make fish and veggies?
Or your dishwasher to make lasagna?
Does anyone use any unconventional methods to cook?

An iron to make grilled cheese sandwiches…isn’t that the old college dorm room trick?!

I think so!
The coffee maker thing caught my eye because its so simple and interesting. Apparently people use the burner on the bottom to “grill” simple things like a grilled cheese sandwich.
And the vegetables or meat sits in the place of the coffee…allowing it to cook while the water passes through.

I don’t know…sounds weird to me…like lasagna in a dishwasher? Wouldn’t the water spray the ingredients everywhere?

why would anyone even cook food in a dishwasher? I’m assuming if you have a dishwasher…you have an oven too no???

The dishwasher sounds weird but is oddly popular! I looked it up and its true…people actually cook in there…fish to lasagna!

back in my boarding school days , we would half boil an egg in a steel bowl filled with water , by holding it on candles !
and once when we went hiking , we ran out of enough food for everyone , one of us had seen some TV programme on survival and we put that to test .. dug up a potato in the middle , poured egg into it , then held it on the bon fire for a couple minutes , turned into perfect Jacket potato and egg !
