Ok, lemme break this down for you in simple terms: yes…there are different methodologies when it comes to biryani preparation. Some put aloo in their biryani. Some use alot of masala. And some don’t cook the meat salan separately before layering with the rice.

There’s wide world of biryani out there, beckoning for you to explore

I believe depending on the regions spices differ therefore biryanis are also different.
