If its a chef profession or artist I’ll tell my children to do it as a hobby.
About weird professions once we met this guy who was or still is a software developer, he was making balloon animals for children, and he told us he used to do it as a hobby for his children, but then one day he started his business as a clown, face painting and balloon animal person, and he is happy now. looks like there is no sharam in working.
I would actually like it if I had a daughter and she wanted to become a culinary expert. It’s like ek teer se do shikaar. She’d get to do what she wants and I’d be a happy mum…that my beti is sughar
For my son, ummm I’d find it yes weird
People also find journalism especially news reporting not a very nice profession for females.
