It may seem a bit strange at first, like knowing that there is a life growing in your tummy. But, trust me, when you get to see your first baby scan (usually wk 8-9), and you see your 2-cm baby and a tiny beating heart, you will feel like a million dollars. That's usually the time you actually start feeling confident about the life growing in you. Not to mention protective!
