weight serious problem

i am so depressed please ppl help me :frowning:

I cannot cannot stop eating and i want to lose weight like 15 to 20 lbs. Need to flatten tummy and reduce butt size. Please help and i will pray for everyone specially in Ramadan.

Why can't you stop eating? Is it due to stress/boredom?

Anyway if you start excercising it'll help you not only physically but emotionally. Start with a 20 mins workout, eat low fat meals, eat more salads, practice portion control, go for a fruit or a low fat glass of milk rather than junk food when feeling hungry.

You have to remember only you can do this for yourself and NOONE else. Starting with some light jogging (20-25 mins) is no big deal, trust me on that.

If you follow the above advice you'll start seeing results in about 4 weeks time if not sooner, I promise.

apart from you meals whenever you feel hungry have channas (bhoonay huay) they are best for dieting and it provides much strength and energy to body.

quit beverages and soda drink completey ...no sweetened juice....have skimmed milk....try to avoid fried food....dont eat rice and roti in one meal they both are high carbs.....drink loads of water.

stick to above then slowly move to excercise and diet.

i wish u good luck there is nothing impossible in this world. at one time i lost 30 kgs which i never thought i would and if i can u can too loose weight :)

I also eat (whenever I'm dieting) a lots of chanas..and drink water...I lost about 4 kg in 1,5 week..But every time I'm eating them I have a lots of pain in my tummy...strange...

Dancing is very good...And you also feel very happy and relaxed!!

Drink loads of water when you are hungry it stops you having cravings.

Also if you enjoy food instead of having 3 meals a day, have 6 SMALL meals a day.

Reduce your fats and empty carbs and get in loads of protein and fresh fruit/veg.

Work out a little bit a day.

The golden rule of weight loss is get out more calories than you take in.

Work out your basal metaboic rate ( google it) and minus 500 calories from it. This should be you daily intake.

A defecit of calories= weight loss.

Basically what works for me is if I cut my portion size so if you have 2 rotis then have 1, eat boiled egg instead of omelete, make salan with less oil, no fried food and if u must have junk food then have just 2-3 bites to satisfy your craving (same for dessert) but it is best to avoid it

I have 3 meals per day and snacks should not be more than 100 calories
chana suggestion is good, air-popped popcorns without any butter are good at filling you up, any 1 fruit is around 100 calories or less, raw veggies with hummus taste amazing and are filling

so if you're a girl 1200kcal per day plus excercise should be enough to make you lose weight (unless your height is under 5 feet then it may mean less calories)
plus losing more than 2 lbs per week is unhealthy so don't try to starve yourself as once you start eating you'll gain it back
if you lose the weight slowly then it is more likely to stay off
and yes a little bit of activity will only help you

you should not stop eating to lose weight.
this will only slow down your metabolism and make it even harder for you to lose what you normally would have lost.
