Re: Weight of the guy
I bet most women here will say its a non-issue, whereas in reality I bet none of them in real life would like to marry a mota! I dont see anything wrong with that, but atleast they should just admit it.
I agree with what spock said although do not agree with the last part. With the assumption that we are talking about a guy in his late twenties/early thirties maybe, being fat shows being irresponsible at more than one level. If you cant take care of your own health at this early in life or be careful about that, how can you take care of a family.
Re: Weight of the guy
I like muscular guys... dont care about their weight. Few things on my list were... tall, dark, handsome, and muscular/buffed. I dont like skinny guys... I feel like they are little boys rather than real men. I rather be with a chubby guy than a super skinny guy. My fiance isnt buffed but he is not supper skinny either so its perfect. hahah my fiance isnt tht tall or buffed but he is handsome and dark so I am happy. Actually he isnt even that dark.. OMG! he is nothing like I had ever imagined my life partner that I had imagined I would be with... But he is caring and loving and nice and just amazing... soo its all good :) and i <3 him!!! wowww my rant...
Aww, that's adorable, mashallah. <3
Re: Weight of the guy
Hahaha
My 'guy' (can't get myself to call him fiance even now) used to be know as Linton Heathcliff in our uni and I used to be one of the people who made fun on him because he was so scrawny and skinny.
Anyway, the health nut that I am, he was bound to join the gym whether he was chubby or skinny. I wouldn't want him to be on either side of the extremes. I wouldn't say no to a rishta because a guy is too chubby or skinny but would definitely want him to do something about it and be more healthy in the long run (which is possible).
Re: Weight of the guy
I think they look for the weight of the guy’s wallet

Re: Weight of the guy
I dont think I would reject someone based on their weight...unless they were overly obese.

Re: Weight of the guy
I think for guys it matters more that their to be wife is model like, however most girls don't stress too much on it. However i do see a change in this nowadays.
At the end of the day, i think its about every individual's comfort level. One guy might be as fit as model but if he lacks on other things like character, education, personality than i think most women would prefer a chubbier guy over him. But i am not sure :D

so time to join the gym for you then.. !
Re: Weight of the guy
at least i stated the fact. all i see is a big sac of saturated fat.
good point. probability of meeting healthy guys is more if one goes to the gym.
Re: Weight of the guy
Spoken like a real man. Kudos.
Re: Weight of the guy
It’s one thing to find someone attractive, and another ot be attracted.
I can find a tall slim guy with muscles and abs attractive no doubt but Im more attracted to the taller, beefier dude.
Skin color doesnt matter.
I like bald and hairy ![]()

I meant (by the last part) as to girls wanting a smart guy (non-mota)
Re: Weight of the guy
Interesting, I would think that most girls would find the really beefy muscular body builder type guys to be pretty disgusting, specially the ones whose muscles look like they are just about to pop.
The general consensus I assume is that the pecking order starts with the tall, slim guys with abs like Brad Pitt etc at the top in terms of attractiveness, then the really muscular guys like Arnold Schwarzenegger etc and then the chubby/overweight guys and finally at the bottom the really obese guys?
