em getting married in nov IA :) what a topic to start luv u for this nina :) i am eating like anything as if this is the last time :P so of course ve gained weight and pata nahi agay kiya ho :(( have started treadmill from today i hope i can continue it
em 5.6 and i used t be 54 kgs and in last 5-6 months ive gained almost 7 kgs :( em 61 kgs now :( hey someone stop me please :( need a lot of motivation actually em studyin and for that ive to sit all the tym :(

Salam everyone!!
Im getting married in July InshAllah!! After doing research for like 2 months, i have complied a daily routine to suit myself. And it works, cause people have told me that i have lost weight.

**First, **In the morning, the first thing you should drink is a glass of water with lemon (do not add any sugar). IT WILL taste bitter & sour for the first 3 - 4 mornings, but then later on you wont notice.
**Second, **Just eat a quarter or maximum half a rottie. (Completely avoid rice). And put only a small amount of salan (avoid as much oil as you can), preferably the size of your fist or less.
Third, DO NOT OVER EAT! Just eat as much as i have mentioned in the second step and wait for 20 minutes because apparently thats how long it takes for our stomach to realize that you are full.
Fourth, Chose two days in a week, where you will only consume Apples. you can have variety none the less, in the morning sprinkle a bit of cinnamon and in the evening sprinkle a bit of olive oil and black pepper. It depends on your taste.
**Fifth, **Exercise for at least 10 minutes everyday. Its not asking for much. Run up and down the stairs or do Treadmill. Again, it depends on what you like.
sixth, remove black tea and coffee from your daily menu & make Green tea your best friend. I dont go into the hassle of soaking up the leaves etc. I just use Twinings pure green tea, Lipton ones are also nice. There are many flavors, but i prefer “pure” to get the maximum benefit!
**Seventh, **Ask for Allah’s help and be regular in your prayers (it will lighten your skin).

Girls, dieting and exercising is all good - but please follow a balanced diet. You don't want to look parched on the day of your wedding. This actually happens to some brides! One of my family friends went on a crazy cabbage soup diet a month or two before her wedding, everyone raved about how much weight she was losing, but she was also losing weight from her face! And that's okay, BUT, she started to get this weird emanciated look :S She usually has such a healthy glow to her face, but during her wedding days, she didn't look so glowy and healthy. She just looked like she was slathered in makeup. You need to make sure that you are getting the nutrients that you need, just minus the junk from your diet, but get your carbs, dairy AND fruits and vegetables. Don't just eat ONLY fruits and vegetables, there's a reason why humans need carbs and protein. Continue exercising - at least four times a week before the wedding to get a toned look!

But, taking the junk out of my diet is the hardest part for me - I love chips and french fries :( haha

remember, makeup can't pull of miracles. You need to make sure you have healthy and glowy skin, then makeup will enhance your look ever more. If you look emanciated, the unhealthiness will seep through the layers of makeup.

on a more practical note ... fill up ur plate as u do normally.... and then take off half of it ....u will reduce the calorie intake that way of what u regularly consume... as it is more about your calorie count...
avoid too oil heavy foods do stick to a normal diet... salan roti (half or full small) small portion of rice....
and defo do exercise,,, or 20-30 mins walk 5 days a week....

if uwant to be too of a freak... try counting ur calories and then decide what u can cut off conveniently!

this is to shed wght normally 1-2lbs per week

I used to b 49kg n i m 5. But frm last 2 years i gained wait like hell n became 64kg coz i started comfort eating than this year i said hell no i dont want to b fat n my wedding is also in nov INSHALLAH. So i started weight training with my fiance first i used jamiez workout but after one month of her training i lost 4kg but then i started krisz frm bodybuilding.com n after that i just lose 3 to 4 kg top but o did his training for 2 months. It included supetsets , DTP etc witj that i used supplement coz theses r essential. I know i didnt lose much weight but i dont have much body fat now instead of that DTP i gained muscle n my armz,shouldetz,legz,back,butt evey bit is toned n no cellulites n that i did just in 3months with out cardio. N now i i m doing 4week intense training to furthet tone it up for my wedding as i m hoing back to pak next month n there i dont have much time to work out. Diet is very imp i take shake of 1cup of oatmeal 4to5 egg whitesn for flabor i put banana in it n in evening i take chicken breast grilled with whole wheat bread n then before an hour of training i take the same morning shake again then after work out some energy drink n in dinner grilled chicken or tuna sandwiches also some times pasta n some other protien based. I used to think that weight training is bad for girlz but my fiance used to tell me that its actually awsome n when i started i realize that n when i started i realized i can lift weight as heavy as boyz.

I'm 5"4 and 50kgs. I've been told by my doctor to PUT on weight because I have low blood pressure.

Your weight is normal for your height but if you want to feel sick on your wedding day. Please be my guest and starve yourself.

Doing exercise keep ur pb normal coz exercise will increase ur blood flow. And eating healthy also keep u healthy so right dont starve just 30 min exercise is enough for one day

but i have question of our 2010 toned up brides.
what do you girls take for protien ?
for some reason i can't leave rice and roti out.. i am good for couple days and then if i am left with no option but roti/rice. i eat it. its not good for my butt and stomach.

..can you girls tell us more about your major meal of the day .. and what are some of your options ..

U can have egg whites(totally protien) and no need to leave rooti coz its whole wheat which is also good n about rice its total carbohydrate if u want complete diet than no fruit no carbohydrates just whole wheat n protien n fpr shake also use skim milk

Hey I am getting married in dec I used to 160 lbs have lost 30 pounds in 5 Months by cutting down all complex carbs, doing Zumba and swimming .... Still want to loss 20 more b4 the wedding...

i want to tell u that best exercise is jogging and walking early in the morning in fresh air and take healthy diet drink more water in morning and less in night don't skip your meal
