You do realize 5-10lbs in a short span of time is usually water weight... good start though!

1 lbs every week is good, BUT keep in mind these are the first 8 weeks... First the water weight goes (easy), then comes the moderately stubborn fat (not that easy), and then comes the really hard to get rid of fat, which coincides with the weight loss plateau. After that it's really hard to shed, and that's what distinguishes the men from the boys :D
