ever since i got married ive been on a pretty healthy diet.. well not diet, but just been eaiting right. Like, grilled things and veggies for dinner… been having proper brekky (juice, toast and cereal) and a sandwich for lunch…
ive actually gone down one dress size as well and everyone has been complimenting my reduced size… BUT.. ive gained like 5kg on the scales..!!! i dont understand…
i feel as if ive lost 5 but instead have gained 5…
i really dont understand… how can my clothes be looser on me when ive gained weight??? its such a horrible horrible figure on the scales too
It's probably muscle. If you want to double check, get a fitness trainer to measure the amount of body fat you have with one of those high-tech gidgets that scans your bone/fat/muscle density.
I was a tad upset too last month wheN i was workin out like crazy, but my weight was more or less same.. measurements changed though :halo: So i think focus on how you look and ure clothes rather than the actual # on the scale, however tempting it is
weighing yourself is not a correct indicator of fat loss, because the scales cant differentiate....
the best way to know if you have lost body fat is actually measure inches, if you say you have lost a dress size then that is a good indicator that you have lost body fat because of eating healthily, and eating protiens can add muscle and less carbs help you lose fat as the energy you burn after when you don't have carbs in your body is all fat....
so sadzzz cheer up, you have lost inches if people are telling you :) Ditch the scales and keep eating healthily.
