I am pregnant with my second child now . I am currently 2 months pregnant and the problem is that I have already gained 6 lbs !! Even with my first pregnancy I gained so much extra weight and it took me almost 1 year to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. My first baby weighed 6.3 lbs at the time of birth , which was quite disappointing for me because I was told by my doctor before delivery that the baby is approximately 8-9 lbs. I need suggestions on how to manage my weight during pregnancy. My current weight is 141 lbs and I am 5’2. And are there any types of foods that make the baby healthy? I have heard eating coconuts and watermelon for a beautiful baby, not sure how true this is.
The eating for 2 thing is not meant to be taken literally. You only need about 200 extra calories a day.
With warmer weather aaaalmost here you could go for walks. It will help you in more ways than just the weight. Also look into pregnancy yoga if you can. I took a few classes with my first and they were pretty awesome.
Green tea is good but only in moderation and I am Petty sure your awesome genes had more to do with the gorgeousness of your baby than green tea. You don't have to literally eat for two but up your fruits and veggies and try to get atleast five serving.If your body craves something, listen to it but don't overindulge. Mix in some nuts and dried fruits in some greek yogurt or instant pudding pack. Make your snacks and meals rich in nutrient and low in fat so you can afford to over indulge if you really must.
