weight and spitefulness

are most healthy women spiteful and aggressive or it is just a coincidence that most of the healthy women i have come into contact with had these qualities? (i like to think its just a coincidence.)

do you think there can be a correlation between these two things, because fat people may feel that they have been mistreated by the society (many people make fun of them, may discriminate against them) or they can not compete with others in some ways?

Re: weight and spitefulness

What sort of contact/conversation have you had with these women that you feel they are like that? I mean what made you come to that conclusion?

Re: weight and spitefulness

Do you mean the desi version of healthY? I.e., moto?

I don't think i'm spiteful and aggressive at all...I might get b*tchy to ppl on here sometimes but that's coz they deserve it :D

Re: weight and spitefulness

i dont think weight has any role in it.

Re: weight and spitefulness

it was not a conclusion. neither was it about anyone on this forum. i have seen some really gentle overweight women.

in high school we had this really fat kid in our class. i got into an argument with him. if i remember correctly, i called him fat. he apparently took umbrage at being called fat, grabbed my arm and started twisting it. i think after that fight i have developed this subconscious anti-fat bias. this cannot be good. :o

so croquet is rite. weight has no role in it. women are ‘naturally’ more spiteful.

:mocking:

Re: weight and spitefulness

Re: weight and spitefulness

perhaps you shouldn't have called him fat :p and still women are more spiteful eh?

Re: weight and spitefulness

FAT PEOPLE ARE MORE PISSED AT THE WORLD. THEY WERE THIN PISSED OFF PEOPLE THEN THEY OVER ATE TO COMPENSATE FOR THE STATE OF THE WORLD THAT THE HORRID GROWNUPS HAD CREATED.

ok my stance here again is …weight has nothing to do with it…

Re: weight and spitefulness

Well it depends on their attutude, there's 2 type:
1) They eat cos they cant stop, totally obsessed with weight- well yeh they can be *****y
2) Have a fuller figure but they have no problem with it- tend to be happy, cheerful

and u have to remember in the asian community, especially for females the skinny ppl get the 'Mashallah's' whilst the healthy ppl get 'Look at her she's so skinny, have u lost any weight?' so yeh they tend to be more resentful

Re: weight and spitefulness

fat ppl = bane of civilization. i hate lazy fat people. i wish aliens would invade and eat them off.

Re: weight and spitefulness

i sorta agree! i do think people who are generally happy with their weight are happy people but then again that means the society around them is letting them be happy with that weight too. alot of the times overweight individuals become the target of ridicule in families and it could be that they sometimes develop a nasty personality as a defense mechanism to the way they were treated. i have seen more than one individual that was ridiculed as a kid and then grew up to ridicule everyone else!

this is also recent. because earlier in our pakistani communities being a little towards the heavier side was actually celebrated. in some families it is still expected of the women to gain some weight after marriage....again we are not talking about being obese but a little on the heavy side that would distinguish her from an unmarried girl. and it should be celebrated since female fat distinguishes her from a male and its the mark of her gender. its only recently that women started to see hips and thighs as yucky.
i would think a woman who has a healthy active lifestyle should not have any problems but when the people around her start telling her that she is not "the perfect ideal" that might affect her image of herself.
she might start eating more/less...get obsessed with food....start secretly hating the people that she is trying to please (husbands, friends etc) and ofcourse that affects personality.
