Weetabix

Finally saw that purple box in a desi grocery store. I read the label but couldn’t make any sense out of it. I was in kind of a rush at that time but can someone tell me what the heck is it. And please DO NOT use stupid comments like how the hell I don’t know this already and crap. So, please koi chaand saa chehra mujhay bataaye kay how can I eat Weetabix and how is it good for me? Also what does it taste like?. Any chocolate flavor or ingredient in it?

Weetabix with banana slices and fresh milk is fine too.

Try All-Bran too. Its much better for the digestive flow.

They taste disgusting but are pretty healthy. It's slightly more bearable if made with hot milk.

ps) are you sure it was definetely Weetabix you saw Funguy.....I thought Weetabix came in a yellow box?

Haven't had Weetabix since I was 12. I like Cornflakes better. Fruit and Nut Muesli's bearable. But Butter and Toast with tea is best.

Shahreen - it said Weetabix on the box and you are right, majority of the color was indeed Yellow. But I for somereason remember it as purple. May be it's a sign I need to increase my fiber intake.

So it tastes disgusting?. Why would Femme Fatale speak so highly of it then? I wonder. She must have bad taste. hmmm...

weetabix is lush!! I cant function without having weetabix in the morning!! try putting a teeny tiny bit of sugar on top of it, but only a little, i prefer it without sugar though...

It honestly keeps you going for a good few hours, as in you wont need to snack in between breakfast and lunch if uv had weetabix for breakfast!

Funguy - just checked my box and it does have purple bits on there so you were kind of right too. I think Weetabix is like marmite, in regards that you either hate it or you love it. I hate marmite too.

Weetabix is the business - eat it for sehri when you are fasting and you wont feel hungry for 8 hours.

weetabix in chocolate flavour? :hehe: try all-bran.

weetabix and honey :yummy:

Yep - that was my breakfast - full of fibre

fungus, it's beautiful. Mix with hot milk, adequate cheeni and fer chak maza. It's way better than cornflakes.

I like it with a tablespoon of sugar layered on top of the biscuit and then cold milk poured around it not over it.

or add milk, put in microwave for 30 seconds. add sugar or honey and then mix it all up - yummy!

^ warm milk is not so yummy.

warm milk and weetabix???? urgh..thats how my daddi used to make us eat it when we were younger.

Funguy, do not, i repeat do not use warm milk, it may scar you for life!!

cold with a teeny tiny bit of sugar is weetabix at it's best.

^ what d’you think of all-bran? :yummy: no?
