Sayyiduna Abu Hurayra 
reports that Rasulullah
:saw: said,
*‘Do not regard any good deed as insignificant even if be to
meet your brother with a pleasant, cheerful expression of the face.’
(Sahih Muslim Hadith6633) *
Commentary
How truly proven has this noble saying of Rasulullah :saw:
been in our context of today.
Such a time when even a cheerful smile from one
Muslim to the next is hard to come by.
Whereas, if one greets his fellow Muslim with this cheerful
expression it would definitely enhance the relationship
between the two.
In a time when almost the entire world has coallatted
against the Muslims, even a smile will be greatly reward by
Allah Ta’ala.
There is also separate reward for pleasing the heart of a Muslim.
On the contrary, disheartening a Muslim is reported to be a severe crime in the court of Allah Ta’ala.
