My water broke 6 in the morning while I was still in bed.
I got up, went to the bathroom and another gush of water came out. It’s not like you’ll have one gush of water and then that’s it. My water kept “breaking” .. or oozing out until I was at the hospital where the nurse had to manually empty the water “bag”. Thank god I wearing a maxi pad 
It is not painful at all .. just uncomfortable .. feels like you peed yourself. But then the entire labor and delivery part is VERYYY uncomfortable 
This is how it was for me … might have been a different experience for someone else.
