ijust need to get something off my chest
so you all punjabi ppl know how punjabi wedidngs are we preparre like months in advance everyone getting new clothes. The mayun the mehndi the barat the valima the new dress the vari etc… I coinsider myself to be very lucky that i know the desi weddins and love it.
my problem is that i dont have a lot os desi ppl in my school but there is this girl, since were pakis we talk and everything but you see she hates paki weddings. Eveytime anyone touches th esusbject of weddings she starts saying how she hates them how she hates the dresses nad that she wants an american wedding with a white dress and everything.
i dont know what to do it bothers me a lot, to the very extreme to c a desi person hating desi style and culture and trying to assimilate into the firangi culture
what do i do
