Sameer Soni and actress-turned-jewellery designer Neelam Kothari tied the knot, in a low key affair. Their wedding took place at Taj Land’s end in Bandra.
The couple was seeing each other from many years but officially announced their relationship last year when Sameer Soni proposed Neelam on her birthday party.
They decided on the wedding date just a few weeks ago. “Planning a wedding is not a joke, even though its small and simple. But trying to enjoy every moment of it”, tweeted Neelam.
This is a second marriage for both Samir and Neelam. Neelam was earlier married to London-based industrialist Rishi Sethia while Samir was married to model Rajlaxmi Khanvilkar (who is now married to actor Rahul Roy).

Mehendi function
On saturday evening, Neelam Kothari hosted a Mehendi function at her Khar home. Neelam’s best friends Seema Khan and Bhavana Pandey and all the Bollywood divas were there to celebrate the charming actress turned jewellery designers union with actor Samir Soni.
Green was the popular color choice for most guests—besides Neelam, designer Ana Singh, socialite Bhavana Pandey, actress’ Karisma Kapoor and Amrita Arora all wore stunning ensembles with green as the highlight color.

Their marriage ceremony was a quiet event attended by few close friends along with family members.
Ekta Kapoor and Jitender were among few of the invitees in their wedding ceremony. Neelam wore a beige saree with a red border and Samir wore a classic formal suit.
