Is anyone here from Abbottabad and/or haripur ??? i would seriously be grateful if someone gave me some info of weddings venues/banquet halls in these two cities…plz

well honestly, I doubt theres any place in haripur to have a wedding considering that most people there are "gao" waley and have shaadis in their homes =D...my cousin went there from UK and they did her wedding in the house( but their house is largeeeeeeeee)! You might still find something in abbottabad..try usmania? maybe they have an attached hall or something

Well i agree haripur has more villagers than city people, but one of my cousin went to a friends wedding in some haripur hotel(he doesnt remember the name) but says it accomodates around 300-500 people, separate hall provided for ladies.

Usmania’s an awesome restraunt in abbtobad and its really popular so i was thinkin they might have a hall attached…but im not sure.

i wouldve given his email id, but cuz of his job in da navy he never comes online...he is going to come to abu dhabi mid september with his wife n kid maybe it would be convinent for u to contact him then.

Hotel Abbot Green, (or something like that), it's on Mansehra Road.
I have been to a few weddings there and it's not bad. There is a garden where you can take pictures. Food is nice.
There is a Pearl Continental in Abbotabad, however it is not part of the chain! My cousin had her wedding there and the food was yuck! No one was impressed. Stay away from that!
Also, I believe there is an Officers Mess as part of the Army buildings, not sure where that is, but an Abbotabadian would be able to tell you.

Umm if I remember corectly they do have a Pearl Continental there. So you might want to contact them and see if they have a banquet hall or something where you can have a wedding. Abbottabad is full of people who are extremely rich and are always trying to be big city ppl. So I am pretty sure that there are banquet halls and wedding halls where people have weddings. Just call somebody in Pakistan who knows the area.

The Pearl Continental in Abbottabad is not part of the chain and it's not very good!

All the weddings ive been to in abbotabad have been held at that Armys sport complex.
It has a name but i forgot sowwie
