I need help in ordering cards.
I am thinking of ordering from www.mygatsby.com

I figure if I order the portfolio styles, then I won’t need an envelope. The card would be sealed with the sticker, and one could just remove the sticker and open the card…
two things i’m worried about though for WITHOUT an envelop 1) The address, stamp, and torn up sticker (once they open it up) might look bad 2) what if everything falls out? Because the folding card thing will still be open at the sides, and things can slip out of the pocket (unless I get the vertically opening one)
If I DO get an envelope, won’t it look weird? Imagine the person taking it out of the envelope…it’s just a blank card, no design or anything on the cover. Once they open the card it’ll look nice, but still…
Okay here are the pix of the portfolio style one that I like which I could possibly order with an extra envelope, or just seal it up place a stamp on it without an extra envelope (this is the vertical one):

Alright if I choose another option of just having an envelope with just a flat card, as in the following pic, then what about the extra inserts (I’m thinking of just having one or two extra inserts—the map and maybe the R.S.V.P.)? If I just have this flat card with these 1-2 extra inserts, wouldn’t that be very disorganized??? Everything just thrown in the envelope like that??

I was looking into this website pretty much because their minimum is 25 cards. The other websites I’ve looked at have a minimum of 100 cards at least. But I want only 50-75. The prices ain’t too bad either I guess.

What are your thoughts? I’m kind of leaning towards the No-envelope, portfolio type card, but again my biggest concern is that the torn up sticker, the stamp and the writing may take the whole effect of the card away…
Thanks guys.

Re: wedding stationery

You can use a tied ribbon instead of a paper sticker. The person with open the ribbon to read the card. A little cut can be made on the lower leaf and the upper leaf can be inserted into it, too.

As for the falling insert, you can ask them to stick it to the outer card. That way it won’t fall out.
