So far, I’ve been quoted the higher price range of £775 onwards, which is overly pricey.
Would anyone recommend a place/area in London where I could hire a wedding stage within my budget (I wouldn’t be happy to pay more than £300 in my opinion, but since I’m a novice I really have no idea how much these do cost or whether I am being reasonable)?
Edit- oh also, light backdrop hire too. I saw one which you had to buy for £1500, but surely we’ll get it cheaper if it’s hired? A DIY fix would also be easy and cheapest, I should think. E.g. buy the fabrics and the lights and fit it up.
What do you all say?

I quite like Party Paradise in Manor Park, East London. They did the stage decor and red carpet, chair covers, pillars and flowers for my friend for around £800. This was 2 years back so their price may have gone up, but they were still quite good. A lot of other event planning companies hire their stages and furniture/pillars from them. Worth checking out anyway, just call them and ask them for an appointment/quote

Most of the wedding stages are made up of the wood or the iron so that they should be more stronger and enough durable. The set up should be more attractive with the nice furniture in the hall.
