To avoid any conflicts later on, I would suggest you try to find out what the budget is and try to get a couple pairs in that range. If you won’t have space to pack everything, you could do your shopping when you go there in the summer. Shoes are a lot cheaper in Pakistan (compared to Europe or North America - not sure where you are at) so you’ll be saving money.
Assuming you’re having your wedding in Pakistan, the other thing is, a lot of people back home don’t know how much things cost “abroad”. So even if you take stuff from here, they won’t necessarily know if it’s good or not. There is also more variety in Pakistan and you can get the latest styles.
My sister got married this summer and her in laws asked her to buy everything of her choice. However, the stuff she liked in the States was very pricey when converted to PKR. So she held off on her shopping until she went back and made sure she stayed within the budget.
