Wedding Setups

Re: wedding setups

my wedding venue was City Lawn North Nazimabad Karachi. All the deocration was done by them it was included in the lawn rent and all.

I am not really sure abt the cost as i never got involved in it but I think my dad paid Rs150,000/- . They change their decor after every 3 months. When we 1st booked it , the stage screen was rusty red , after 3 months it was blue and when i went there for my wedding it was green.

Re: wedding setups

aren't dads just the best lol diamond =)
but thats seriously amazing decor
and 150 000 is excellent..i think......im bad at rates n all lol

Re: wedding setups

Diamond no doubt, the decore is very beautiful and stunning. I would love to get something like same for myself too ...but then I guess I am not going to spend so much on the decore only :(

Re: wedding setups

i am being forced to get married in a hall =(
i hate halls they just don't have that magical element like marquees do
does any1 have any pics of nice hall decor in pak pleeeeeese

Re: wedding setups

Where in Pak?

I do not know of many though. My both sis got married in Crowne Plaza and Ambassador hotel in Lahore. They were good.

Re: wedding setups

^decorators can set up ur hall to look as grand as u want

Re: wedding setups

Fairy Tale - decoration is a part of hall rent. I mean Rs 150,000 included decoration , the hall , water dispenser , crockery and live music . Believe me they used excellent crockery. They also had two darbar type man standing who were announcing the arrival of barat , the dinner etc etc people really enjoyed them and don't worry decoration doesn't matter what matters is that u and ur hubby shd be happy and to tell u the truth me and my husband didn't get a chance to see the decor bcuz we were surrounded with camera men all the time. We have only seen it in these pics.

Saimasood- yes Dads are best ....they give away their daughters and spend their life time earnings too in the process of giving away !

Mine was a hall .........its a hall decor !

I would shoot myself if my dad spent his entire life earnings on my wedding. :sadaf:

Re: wedding setups

^ me too! And feel really guilty for being a selfish daughter!

sumorani - in my case i m the only kid of my parents and they didnt want me to interfere in their only child’s wedding. Secondly , parents think that by giving maximum best to their daughter would help them in leading a good comfortable life . What I did i spend major amount of money in gold , now whatever spent is safe . I specifically bought pure gold sets without beeds or anything and whenever i want i can sell them back without any loss! But its common and known that prents save for daughters wedding all their life and this is sooo true in middle and lower income groups.

anyways we are deviating from the topic

You can get in touch with ‘J&S3’, who I believe were the organisers at this wedding, going by the marquee and the general setup:

IN LUV WITH DESE!!!

Re: wedding setups

honestly, a wedding should look like a wedding, not a furniture store. and most of these pictures look exactly like that- totally weird. how can you even see your guests through this kind of decor? lol. the entire hall is filled with random stuff that doesn't even go together, looks so gaudy and OTT. you're getting married, not holding an exhibition.
