Lol, I was joking about the wedding planner... I just need a good tour guide, who will point me to the right directions for the wedding shopping.. I don't know Pakistan too well. Thats the problem. :D

Hey , you shold go to Ather and Shehzad in Lahore, get one of the make up artist from them....they are too good:-)

I would love to... I've seen their work before, and I was so gobsmacked. Their work is very good, very mesmerizing. If only I was getting married in Lahore. =(

By any chance, do any of you guys know how much AtherShehzad charge for their bridal make-up.. ?

yes here
they have a large no of businesses like sugar mills , oil refinery and colleges etc.
but they are well known by the name MADINA GROUP OF COMPANIES. their catering is also upto mark
i do not have their no . but i'm sure u'll find out in the directory etc.

i m from Faisalabad. i can share with u some of the information that i have got.
As for marriage halls , there isnt much choice u have got in faisalabad. the only two reasonable options r that of Serena hotel or Chenab club.
but the food quality of serena is not that gud while chenab club serves very delicious food (waisay serving food is already banned in pakistan!).but if u want ur marriage to be held in a lawn i wud suggest chenab club nd if u want proper hall nd with all the concomitant facilities .as for being cost effective , if u have ny relative who has got membership of Chenab club ,it can be a very good nd economical deal .Needless to say , Serena is expensive but it has its own environment.
most of the ppl in Faisalabad do shopping for their weddings from lahore nd i dont know why .one reason cud be that lahore has the reputation of being modern city :) nd Faisalabad a paindu city :(
As for make up, i have absolutely no information about it. but i presume that there must be some quality parlours. for it i have to consult some female.
nd for photographer, i know of one who is really gud but i dont know he may not come to ur standard.
if u have ny more specific question , u can throw it my way.
nd u shud send me invitation card :p

I'm from Scotland and I'm getting married in Oct this year not far from Faisalabad and am looking for the same help like make up artists and video and photography coverage.

So who did your make up on your special days, and how did it work out for you ?

Afzls Studio in Faisalabad are great for photography. They do video coverage as well. Depilex is nice for makeup.
